Jesus is here for you.

Find the rest you are longing for. Find peace with God.

Pain is what we all have in common.

You are not broken; you are human. You are not alone and your life is not without hope.

It might feel like the darkest night of your life, but the Bible promises you something beautiful:

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
— Isaiah 41.10

You can experience peace in this life.

You have a God who loves you. the Bible tells us that he is a good father and he’s been looking for you for all eternity.

And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty
— 2 Corinthians 6.18

The problem is not pain, it’s sin.

There’s a universal sickness at work. The Bible call this disease sin. It’s the fuel for every wrong in the world. All the bad that’s been done to you was powered by sin. All the bad things you’ve thought, said and done is because of the problem of sin.

But it’s worse than that. Sin doesn’t just keep us stuck; it keeps us separated from God. The same God who is a loving Father, who has been searching for you for all eternity is kept from you because of the problem of sin.

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
— Isaiah 59.2

Jesus is the only way to peace in this life (and eternal life in the next).

Because we are helpless in our sin, God sent Jesus to rescue us. To save us - quite literally. Jesus took away sin by dying on a cross and today he wants to make a trade with you. He became death, so you could have life. He became sin, so you could be free. This is what the Bible calls, “The Gospel” or good news.

But it gets even better. You are not called to be good, or try hard, or give money to charities. You are simply called to believe this good news. In doing something as simple as that you will have your sin taken away from you; you will no longer be compelled to sin, and you’ll no longer be condemned by your sin.

That peace you’re looking for? It’s on the other side of this transaction. But there’s one final thing and it’s almost too good to be true: Jesus didn’t just die on the cross, God raised him up to live again. And he will do the same for you. When you die, if you took Jesus up on his offer of forgiveness, you will live for ever with him in heaven.

You know that Jesus appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.
— 1 John 3.5

So what now?

Life or death. It’s as simple as that.

But you came to this page because you want to live. You want the hope that God offers, the peace that Jesus paid for and a life without shame, guilt or fear of punishment.

To take Jesus up on this offer all you have to do is follow three simple steps:

  1. Confess: Admit that you are plagued by sin. You can say something like, “Jesus you and I both know I am a sinner. I have thought, said, and done wrong things.”

  2. Ask: Ask Jesus to forgive you and tell him you want in on his offer. Say something like, “Jesus I believe that you were sent by God to rescue me from my sin. I believe that you died on a cross to take my sin away. I want the offer of peace with God. I want the free gift of eternal life when I die.”

  3. Believe: It’s hard to believe that’s all you have to do. But Jesus said, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” You can’t earn this gift. You can’t work hard or try to be good. Just believe God is as good as he promised he is. If you want something to do, ask God for his Holy Spirit. Try this, “Lord as I have confessed my sin, and asked for your forgiveness of my sins, I now ask for the Holy Spirit to come fill me.”

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
— John 3.16
